Newest Fitness Craze: Pole Dancing

Posted:

Yuma, AZ November 7 -  It's the newest fitness craze to hit the Desert Southwest and our very own KSWT News 13's Gaby Gonzalez is giving us an inside look at the newest workout that has soccer moms coming out of their shells.

Here in Yuma, women are finding a new and fun way to work out with sexy results. Edith Aboulhosn, a professionally trained dancer, is teaching women how to exercise by pole dancing.

From Mind To Body, instructor Edith Aboulhosn says this may not be the most conventional way to workout.  But these isolated, simple moves can deliver quite a workout.  It's called Pole Fitness, andhis new way of working out is attracting women from all walks of life and awakening their inner diva.  Pole Fitness is effective because you lift your body on the pole and work on your core and gluts with results showing only after 2 weeks.

"Going to the gym you kinda get bored.  You lose interest."  These classes are not just for thin, young women.  Women from all types of lifestyles attend Edith's classes from Marine wives to paralegals.  Edith adds she's even had a 70-year-old women and women who weigh up to 200 lbs. enroll.

If you're interested in signing up for one of these fun classes, all you have to do is round up the girls and head to www.exoticdanceforyou.com.
