San Luis, Mexico -- A San Luis grandmother is proving you're never too old to get an education.

64 year old Aurora Garcia, who lives in San Luis, Sonora graduated from both Elementary School and Junior High this weekend.

Garcia says she never got to go to school as a child because her family was very poor, and sent her to work in the fields at a young age to help feed her brothers and sisters.

But, with encouragement from her 7 adult children, Garcia enrolled in Mexico's "Adult Education Institute of Sonora" and simultaneously completed both elementary and middle school courses, earning a "b" average.

Garcia's next goal: a High School diploma.
