
Dr. Ramona Krutzik is the Medical Correspondent for KSWT News 13. Dr. Krutzik, also a practicing endocrinologist in Brawley, CA, plays an integral role in KSWT News 13's reporting on breaking medical news, regular health reports The Evening News at 6pm and The Late Edition at 10p. Dr. Krutzik also contributes to kswt.com.
Dr. Krutzik's passion for inspiring people in the Desert Southwest to lead healthier, more active lives led her to medicine and medical reporting for KSWT News 13. Diabetes, weight loss, and healthy lifestyle choices are just a few of the issues for which she is passionate.
Dr. Krutzik has always wanted to share her knowledge of medicine to larger audiences. With that in mind, becoming a Medical Correspondent at her hometown TV station was a perfect fit.
In addition to her responsibilities as an Endocrinologist and reporting for KSWT, Dr. Krutzik is also a full time mom. She and her husband have 3 children.
Dr. Krutzik was in private practice in Orange County for four years prior to relocating to her hometown of Brawley in September of 2007. She practices general Endocrinology.
Dr. Krutzik studied Molecular Cell Biology at UC Berkley and attended medical school at UCLA.
