
Mauricio Marin joined the KSWT-TV News Team in April of 2011. Born and raised in San Diego, Mauricio is happy to be in Yuma. Mauricio has always had the news bug in him. He says he was the only kid in his 55th grade classroom to get excited about watching the 5 o'clock news. Mauricio earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology from U. C. Santa Barbara.
He most recently attended San Diego City College where he was an anchor, reporter, and producer for the award winning student newscast there.He has also interned at multiple news stations in San Diego and Santa Barbara working side by side with reporters, producers, and photographers.
In his free time he enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with his family and friends.
