Principal Frederick Lanuza Removed

Parents at one Calexico middle school are up in arms after they learn their kids' principal has been removed.

The Calexico Unified School District made the decision to remove principal Frederick Lanuza from William Moreno Junior High and place him at Rockwood Elementary.

District Administrator Georgina Sanchez has been chosen to take over at William Moreno.

The decision was made after teachers at the junior high held a vote of no confidence against Lanuza.

But parents at the school are upset with the decision, saying that the teacher's allegations of Lanuza's lack of leadership and poor discipline are untrue.
