Local organization to host Christmas tree lighting event

YUMA, Ariz. - We just got through Thanksgiving Day and it already feels like Christmas.

The Caballeros de Yuma will be hosting the 26th Annual Friendship Tower Lighting tomorrow night at the Desert Sun Stadium, located at 3500 S. Avenue A. The event will start at 6:30pm.

They will have entertainment before the lighting of the 200-foot tall Christmas tree.

This is a free event but organizers encourage people to donate non-perishable food.

They are partnering up with Crossroads Mission to collect food items this holiday season for those in need.
