MCAS YUMA, Ariz. - The Marine Corps Air Station welcomed a new commanding officer today.
During a change of command ceremony, the Marine Attack Squadron 211 introduced their current commanding officer.
Lieutenant Colonel Bret Ritterby will relinquish command to Lieutenant Colonel Chris Raible.
Ritterby took command of the VMA-211 two years ago. Earlier this year he led a six month deployment with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of Operation Cobra Gold and Operation Lava Viper.
Raible is transferring from Headquarters Marine Corps where he served as the APW-21, Joint Strike Fighter F-35 Requirements Officer.
