YUMA, Ariz. - Drug smugglers have used planes, trucks, cars and, boats to try and smuggle drugs but how about a go-kart?
U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Yuma Sector arrested a suspect for smuggling over 90 pounds of marijuana into the U.S.
Agents were patrolling the area along the border when they discovered tire tracks crossing the international boundary.
After tracing the tracks, agents located an individual driving a go-kart carrying bundles of narcotics.
The marijuana is set to have a street value of almost $46,000.
The driver, go-kart and, drugs were turned over to the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force.
