SAN LUIS, Ariz. - A missing Arizona teenager is found by local border patrol agents.
Yuma sector agents assigned to a unit in San Luis say they noticed a female attempting to cross the border into Mexico acting suspicious on Sunday.
They say the girl claimed to be a 19-year old Mexican resident who was an illegal immigrant.
After the agents arrested her, further investigation showed she was a 14-year old U.S. citizen who had run away from a group home for troubled children in Mesa.
Agents also discovered she was suspected of assaulting a school resource officer and had a warrant out for her arrest.
The teen has been turned over to the Yuma Police Department.
