YUMA, Ariz. - The San Luis City Council candidate ordered to take an English proficiency exam was in court yesterday.
During a hearing in Yuma Superior Court, Judge John Nelson wants the audio from the exam to be available to all parties involved at the city's expense.
It's unknown when potential city council candidate, Alejandra Cabrera, took the test but a report from a linguistics expert is expected to be ready for review as early as Saturday morning.
Judge Nelson also ordered the report to be made available to all counsels.
Cabrera is back in court next week.
