Blythe, CA -- A Blythe man has been arrested for allegedly hitting his girlfriend in the face.
Blythe Police Department reports they responded to a disturbance call at the Desert Breeze Apartments located in the 400 block of North palm in Blythe on Friday.
Once on scene, police say a 34-year old female told authorities her boyfriend, 28-year old Kentron Dixon hit her the night before causing injuries to her face.
A records check revealed that the female was listed as a protected person in a Criminal Protective Order; which restricted Dixon from contacting her or being within 100 yards of her.
Dixon was transported to the Blythe Police Department for further investigation where they later learned Dixon threatened to kill her.
During an interview, police say Dixon admitted to hitting the female victim.
Dixon has been arrested for domestic violence, violation of protective order and criminal threats.
