El Centro Border Patrol rescue illegal immigrants from canal

EL CENTRO, Calif. - Border patrol agents rescue two illegal immigrants from the swift currents of the All American Canal.

El Centro sector border patrol says the incident happened last week as border patrol agents using remote video surveillance system saw five suspected illegal immigrants enter the All American Canal and attempt to swim across.

Nearby agents responded who deployed rescue throw bags and helped the victims get out of the All American Canal safely.

Authorities say all subjects were unharmed and transported to the Calexico Border Patrol Station for processing.
