Military personnel to be deployed to Border States, none to Yuma sector

WASHINGTON D.C. - The U.S. Department of Defense has announced they will be adding military troops to some parts along the U.S. and Mexico border.

They say within the following couple of weeks, they will deploy troops to parts of New Mexico and Arizona.

However, none are expected to come to the Yuma sector.

Government officials say the military personnel deployed to patrol the border will be equipped with vehicles and ammunition.
