Sex offender relocates in Yuma

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office is notifying the public about a local sex offender who has a new address.

YCSO says 40-year old Tyrone Thomas now lives on the 200 block of S. Center Street in Yuma.

In 1996, Thomas was convicted of child molestation. YCSO says Thomas was 22 at the time and he had sexual intercourse with a 13-year old female.

Thomas is considered a level 2 sex offender with a medium risk to re-offend.
