YUMA, AZ - A Yuma hospital holds a health clinic for seniors.
Yuma Regional Medical Center hosted its largest event of the year today.
The Silver Care Program welcomed a big crowd to the "Heart Healthy Cooking" clinic.
People in attendance got the chance to get advice and information from medical doctors and hospital staff.
A doctor on site says age has nothing to do with the state of someone's health.
"Your heart, your bones and your muscles don't know how old you are," said Robert Smythe, a medical doctor. "As long as you give them exercise and you giver them the proper substrate… they can grow at any age."
Silver Care is the hospital's free program for people 55 years old and older.
It provides resources to work towards helping keep seniors healthy.
