IMPERIAL, CA - With the 2012 California Mid-Winter Fair Carnival less than two weeks away, we got a sneak peak.
Organizers for the event held a preview today at the fairgrounds and gave us a little insight of what's in store for this year's festivities.
They say they have extended the fair and have many new attractions.
The fair will feature four of six rides that were auctioned off from Neverland, formally owned by the late pop star Michael Jackson.
They are also building themed sections, including a rain forest with a waterfall.
Organizers were also happy to announce they will have a Mary-go-round they bought 30 years ago that was featured in the 1884 Olympics in Los Angeles, CA.
They say in addition to having all these new attractions, they are going green as 80 percent of the light's they are using are environmentally friendly.
The carnival kicks off March 2, 2012 at the fairgrounds in the City of Imperial.
This year's event goes on for ten days and also features music concerts, including tributes to Carlos Santana and Journey.
