Yuma Snowbirds get tips from Canadian Snow Birds Association

YUMA, AZ – Hundreds of Canadian winter visitors were at the Yuma Civic Center Tuesday afternoon for an event specifically put on for them.

The Canadian Snowbird Association's annual winter event was held today from 1 to 4 p.m.

The purpose of the one day event is to provide information to winter visitors and their American friends who come to the Desert Southwest for their winter stay.

The Snowbird Association provides not only information but live entertainment for attendees.

Officials with the organization say they travel all over the U.S. to offer their services to Canadians and others interested in attending and their next stop will be in Indio, California.
