VIENNA, VA - Funeral services will be held tonight for the Yuma-based marine that died in a car crash in San Diego earlier this month.
Pedro Conceicao's body was flown to his home state of Virginia where his family will be able to say their final goodbyes.
Conceicao died in a roll-over crash two weeks ago after his fellow marine, Ashley Maya, got behind the wheel while drunk and lost control of the vehicle while speeding trying to merge onto Interstate-8.
Maya was booked into a San Diego Jail and is facing vehicular manslaughter and DUI charges.
She was released from jail last night after posting $50,000 bond.
The Yuma-based marine is due back in court next week.
