Judge David HawsYUMA, AZ- A recently appointed judge is now campaigning to remain at his current position in the Yuma County Superior Court.
David Haws is a former Yuma County Prosecutor. He worked at the Yuma County Attorney's Office for more than 2 decades. He has extensive courtroom and trial experience. He has handled a wide variety of criminal cases, giving a voice to victims of murder, child molestation, gang violence and serious aggravated assaults.
Earlier this year, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer named Haws to fill a vacancy in the Yuma Superior Court.
Haws and his wife Heidi live in Yuma County where their two oldest children graduated high school and their youngest daughter is currently enrolled in public school. Judge Haws has served as a volunteer coach for youth sports for many years. He and his wife are active in their church and active in the community.
Judge haws will be at the Yuma County fair all throughout next week and welcomes people to meet him.
