Suspect arrested for cutting a man with a knife - | News for Yuma, Imperial Valley, El Centro, AZ & CA

BLYTHE, CA- A suspect is arrested for cutting another man with a knife.

Police say Daniel Garnica was booked into jail for assault with a deadly weapon.

They say the 35 year old got into an argument with another man Monday night, when he grabbed a knife and cut him on the right side of the face. 

Police say friends broke up the fight and Garnica fled the scene on foot.  

They say he was later located at the Blue Line Motel and taken into custody.

The knife used was recovered by police at the scene of the crime.

Police say the 33 year old victim was transported to the hospital and later released.
