Yuma sex offender's new address - | News for Yuma, Imperial Valley, El Centro, AZ & CA

YUMA, AZ- Police are notifying the public of a sex offenders address.

Virgil Brooks is now living in the 2484 S. 34th Drive in Yuma.

The Yuma Police Department says in 2002, Brooks was sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison for pleading guilty to one count of attempted sexual assault with a prior.

They say he was originally charged with kidnapping, sexual abuse, and attempted sexual assault after he had sexual contact with an adult woman he did not know.

The 35 year old is currently on parole.

Brooks is considered a level 3 sex offender with a high risk to re-offend.
