Border Patrol agents seize $1.4 million in cocaine


INDIO, CA- U.S. Border Patrol agents seize $1.4 million worth of cocaine.

El Centro Sector agents assigned to the Indio station were alerted by a canine team to a white Dodge pick-up truck Saturday morning at the Highway 86 checkpoint.

They say during a search, agents found 20 packages of cocaine concealed between the condenser and radiator of the pick-up truck.

The 36 year old driver, who is a Mexican citizen with valid immigration documents, was arrested and turned over to the D.E.A. along with the cocaine and vehicle.
