Jorge Servin
YUMA,AZ- He is charged with running from police and now is still on the run after failing to appear in court.
Jorge Servin was scheduled to appear in Yuma Justice Court Tuesday afternoon, however the 22 year old was a no show.
Servin was arrested Friday night after Yuma police say he failed to stop while speeding in the 700 block of S. 2nd Avenue.
They say he was later found hiding in a field near 16th Street and Pacific Avenue.
Servin was seen in jail court over the weekend. A judge set his bond at $2,000 which he soon after posted and was released from jail.
Judge Gregory Stewart says, "based on the defendants notice of requirement to appear, having posted bond and failing to appear, a bench warrant will be issued in this case."
The state has filed one felony charge against Servin of unlawful flight from pursuing law enforcement vehicle.
Judge Stewart reset Servin's bond at $50,000. He also set a 90 day forfeiture hearing.
