YUMA, AZ- A suspect arrested for stabbing a man at a Yuma car wash appears in court.

22 year old Camilo Zantoyo of Yuma is facing attempted premeditated first degree murder.

He was arrested by Yuma Police Thursday in connection to stabbing 73 year old Jose Ramirez-Pichardo on February 25 at the Speedway Car Wash on 8th Street.

Prosecutors say Zantoyo went to the car wash that day intoxicated, confronted Pichardo on his bike and then stabbed him in the chest.

They asked Judge Gregory Stewart to set Zantoyo's bond at $750,000.

Pichardo's daughter was in court she gave the judge an emotional plea to set his bond high or to hold him on no bail. She says her father has suffered tremendously from the stabbing and can't do much.

The Judge Stewart set Zantoyo's bond at $1 million.

He's back in court next week.
