Level 2 Sex offender has new address in Yuma

YUMA, AZ- Police are notifying the public of a local sex offender's address.

Yuma police say Edgar Ruiz is now living in the 1319 E. 24th Place.

The 30 year old plead guilty to two counts of attempted child molestation in 2002.

YPD says Ruiz was sentenced to 10 years in prison and lifetime probation for having sexual contact with a 10 year old female whom he knew.

Ruiz is considered a level 2 sex offender with a medium risk to re-offend.
