Brawley woman arrested for having meth in her purse

EL CENTRO, CA- A Brawley woman is caught with methamphetamine in her purse.

El Centro Police say officers pulled over 23 year old Casandra Fausto near 4th and Main Streets Tuesday night around 8.

They say after officers got consent to search the vehicle for narcotics, Fausto admitted to having meth in her purse.

The estimated street value of the meth is said to be $1,200.

She was booked into jail on charges of possession and transportation of methamphetamine for sale and child endangerment.

Police say her boyfriend and their 3 year old child were passengers in the vehicle at the time.

She remains behind bars on $100,000 bond.
