Imperial Valley celebrates Earth Day

EL CENTRO, CA - The Imperial Valley went green and celebrated earth day with entertainment activities and music.

The Imperial County Living Green Initiative hosted an Earth Day celebration at Bucklin Park in Imperial Valley on Saturday.

The event featured water-efficient landscaping and backyard composting workshops.

They had informational booths about environmentally friendly habits.

The free event also had activities for children like environmental scavenger hunt, green pledges and trash-to-treasure crafts.
