YUMA, AZ - The Yuma Police Department arrests three people after they say one of them was operating a vehicle chop shop.

A search warrant was served at a residence in the 13-hundred block of South Engler Avenue Wednesday morning.

Police say 64-year-old Tony Gene Schofield was arrested and booked for conducting a chop shop, possession of a stolen vehicle and dangerous drugs.

50-year-old David Hollenbeck of Yuma was also busted. Police say he was trafficking in stolen property, and booked for misconduct with weapons and possession of drugs.

43-year-old, Ramona Serrano also from Yuma, was booked for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. All three appear in court Thursday.

The investigation began a month ago after a stolen vehicle was reported.
