YUMA, AZ - Students in the Desert Southwest celebrated Earth Day this weekend.
Students from Pueblo Elementary School in Yuma planted colorful plants in celebration of Earth Day.
They spent their Saturday morning planting flowers all over the school with the help of their parents and teachers.
Organizers say the celebration was part of the school's "Make a Difference Day," which is usually in October but they changed the date this year to honor Earth Day.
