Brawley man stabbed, in serious but stable condition

BRAWLEY, CA - A man is in serious condition after being stabbed several times over the weekend.

Brawley Police say Saturday morning a 30-year-old Hispanic man was found on the street on the 600 blocks of Imperial Avenue.

He had stab wounds to his upper torso, back and neck.

Police say the man was conscious when they arrived and was taken to pioneers memorial hospital.

They say he remains in serious but stable condition.

Brawley Police officers investigating the matter say they have spoken with the victim and believe the incident was gang related.
