CBP officers arrest California murder suspect

SAN LUIS, AZ- A 20 year old California man wanted for murder is behind bars in Yuma.

Jose Alfredo Rodriguez of Riverside was arrested Friday by Customs and Border Protection Officers at the San Luis Port of Entry.

CBP says Rodriguez was a passenger in a vehicle attempting to cross into the U.S.

They say after running a records check it was discovered Rodriguez had a warrant for attempted murder and obstructing justice out of Riverside, California.

Rodriguez remains behind bars on no bond as he awaits extradition to Riverside County.
