Firefighters rescue 2 people from the Colorado River

YUMA, AZ- A dramatic water rescue in the Colorado River near the 4th Avenue bridge .

Several watercraft were used Saturday to locate two people, one of whom was unconscious.

It's not clear how many people needed assistance since there were varying accounts from those who made 911 calls.

Two Yuma Fire Department jet skies and a zodiac inflatable boat were launched in the rescue.

Neither of the victims was wearing personal floatation devices.
