YUMA, AZ- The suspect accused of murdering a local doctor nearly 5 years ago was in court Wednesday.

Preston Strong faces two counts of first degree murder, as well as charges of kidnapping and armed burglary in the killing of Dr. Satinder Gill in November 2007.

Strong's attorney recently filed a memorandum for prosecutorial misconduct.

The defense alleges bizarre and outrageous behavior by the government and Yuma Police Department since this case began.

The prosecution claims these allegations in the memorandum are false and it's been proved by witness testimony.

A status hearing is set for Friday afternoon in Yuma Superior Court to review the allegations.
