Registered sex offender transient in Yuma neighborhood

YUMA, AZ - People who live in one section of Yuma are being alerted of a registered sex offender who frequents the area.

Yuma County Sheriff's Office says Jason Campbell is a transient in the area of 10th Street and Arizona Avenue in Yuma.

He is 6"1' feet tall, about 285 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

More than ten years ago, the 38-year -old was convicted in the state of Washington for sexually molesting two victims under the age of 14.

In 2010, Campbell was convicted after he failed to register as a sex offender in Yuma.

He is considered a level two sex offender and authorities say there is risk he could re-offend.
