Yuma woman charged with hindering prosecution of murder suspect

YUMA, AZ- Another woman is charged with hindering prosecution of a murder suspect in the death of a Yuma man.

Regina Garcia went before Judge Gregory Stewart in Yuma Justice Court Thursday afternoon.

She is accused of aiding and abeding Jonathon Ochoa from April 25 until May 1.

Ochoa was arrested Monday in the baseball beating of 33 year old Kendall Smith on April 18.

Garcia remains behind bars on $50,000 bond.

She's back in court next week.
