Suspect drug search warrant has been formally charged

EL CENTRO, CA - He was arrested Wednesday after two separate search warrants involving the sale of narcotics and now, Fausto Caro Jr. has been formally charged.

He was arraigned at Imperial County Jail Court in El Centro yesterday on two felony counts of possession of a control substance for sale.

He is accused of dealing drugs from his home located on the 100 block of West State Street, less than a block away from Washington Elementary School.

After serving a search warrant two days ago, El Centro Police found drugs and firearms.

He remains in custody on $20,000 bond and will be back in court next week for a pretrial.
