Preston Strong
YUMA, AZ- A man accused of murdering a Yuma doctor in 2007 was in court Friday.
Preston Strong was in Yuma Superior Court with his attorney for a status hearing to see when this case can go to trial.
No date has been set as of yet due to some loose ends that need to be tied up.
However it was determined the trial could run about nine weeks.
Strong has opted for a bench trial which means his fate lies in the judge's hands.
Another status hearing was set for May 15.
Strong faces two counts of first degree murder, as well as charges of kidnapping and armed burglary in the killing of Dr. Satinder Gill nearly five years ago.
