YUMA, AZ- The sister of a man wanted for murder is indicted by a grand jury.

Blanca Bustamante is charged with hindering prosecution by rendering assistance to her brother, Manuel.

She was formally charged in Yuma Justice Court on Tuesday May 1.

The 21 year old will be arraigned in Yuma Superior Court next week.

She remains behind bars on $100,000 bond.

Her brother, Manuel Bustamante, remains on the run.

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office believes he has fled to Mexico.

Sheriff's deputies are trying to nab him for the brutal murder of 33 year old Kendall Smith. YCSO says a group of people beat him with a baseball bat on April 18 in the 2500 Blk of East 15th Place in Yuma. Smith later died due to his injuries.

Bustamante is described as a 30 year old Hispanic man, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and 185 pounds.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact YCSO or 78-Crime.

Mean time two others, Jonathon Ochoa and Elsi Valenzuela, have already been arrested and charged for the murder of Smith.
