CALEXICO, CA- Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Calexico East Port of Entry seize 17 pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine combined.
CBP officers say a canine alerted them to a silver 2006 Ford mustang Sunday afternoon.
Through inspection of the vehicle, officers discovered 14 pounds of meth and 3 pounds of cocaine hidden in the floor area of the car.
The combined street value of the narcotics is said to be $246,000.
The driver, a 20 year old female from Calexico, was turned over to ICE and then booked into Imperial County Jail.
CBP seized both the vehicle and narcotics.
