Exterminators continue to clean condemned home - | News for Yuma, Imperial Valley, El Centro, AZ & CA

YUMA, AZ- It's still an eye sore and it still emits a foul odor, but city crews are said to be making headway on that condemned house in Yuma.

On Monday afternoon, News 13 found exterminators still trying to get rid of fleas and other insects inside the house on the 2400 blk of S. Sierra Vista Avenue.

News 13 checked with the city and so far, four big dumpster's of trash and debris have been hauled away.

The work is more than halfway done, but crews still found an additional 3-dozen dead cats inside.

As we reported, the house will be torn down, but for now the city continues to discourage anyone from visiting the property.
