Yuma Regional Medical Center Begins Drive for School Supplies

YUMA, AZ - It's that time of year again. With the end of one school year, the start of a new one is fast approaching.

The Foundation of Yuma Regional Medical Center is beginning its annual Drive for School Supplies to help children of Yuma County who are most in need.

Since 1999 the community wide effort has provided nearly 22,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to schools and organizations in Yuma County including Dateland and Winterhaven California.

Last year 3,400 backpacks filled up with school supplies were distributed.
