YUMA, AZ - More delays in the case of the man accused of killing a Yuma doctor five years ago.
Preston Alton Strong appeared at Yuma Superior Court this morning for a hearing to see if they can move forward and set a trial date.
But the judge issued an order to show cause, meaning more delays in the case.
No date has been set due to some loose ends that need to be tied up.
Strong has opted for a bench trial which means his fate lies in the judge's hands.
He faces two counts of first degree murder, as well as charges of kidnapping and armed burglary.
He will be back in court next week.
