Duties:
KSWT News 13 is looking for an Editor/Photographer/Reporter. Duties include but are not limited to editing on Adobe Premiere, Edius or similar editing systems as well as locating and editing video assigned by Producers or Reporters. Also, shoot news stories as assigned and will be required to operate the MICROWAVE VAN and or live portable equipment for LIVE news and production remotes, and whatever other tasks are assigned by management.

Must be able to write and help produce each newscast on which they participate. Reporters must be familiar with all aspects of the news-gathering process in a small market including: covering, writing and doing live shots as assigned by news management; should be able to shoot and edit their own stories in various formats and know how to write crisp and clear for the eye and ear. Reporters are also expected to represent KSWT in the public arena, including personal appearances and promotional shoots.

Spanish language proficiency and familiarity with the Desert Southwest preferred.

Other requirements:
4 year college degree preferred, drug-free, good driving record.

Must be flexible, able to handle stress and strict deadlines, can multi-task, has a clean driving record, and is a team player.
