Release date set for man with condemned Yuma home

Posted:

YUMA, AZ – According to jail officials, the man convicted after Yuma City officials condemned the home he was living in will be released from custody October 1, 2012.

Following his release, Paul Robert Cohn will be on three years unsupervised probation where he is not allowed to own any pets or come near the area of his condemned home in Yuma.

He was sentenced to almost 11 months in jail last week by a judge in Yuma City Municipal Court for endangerment, animal cruelty and disorderly misconduct.

The same day he was on trial, his home was being demolished after city officials found dead cats, animal and human feces, and tons of piled up trash.
