YUMA, AZ- A suspect accused of stabbing an elderly man at a Yuma car wash is sentenced in connection to another incident.

22-year-old Camilo Zantoyo was in Yuma Municipal Court Thursday afternoon for assault.

He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, but a motion was granted to cut the sentence in half.

A separate charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed.

Zantoyo will be credited for his time already served and is set to be released from custody on July 4.

In April, Zantoyo was arrested by Yuma Police for stabbing 73-year-old Jose Ramirez-Pichardo in the chest on February 25 at the Speedway Car Wash on 8th Street in Yuma. His charge of first degree murder in that case is still pending.
