Adult Literacy Plus receives generous grants

YUMA, AZ.- Adult Literacy Plus receives a generous donation from Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation.@

The school was awarded $25,900 for their Building Literacy Project in addition to the $140,000 from the City of Yuma's CBDG funding.

Adult Literacy Plus says they will use these grants to expand an existing classroom and renovate the restrooms for students and staff.

Since 1957, Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation has helped communities nationwide through employee volunteerism and financial contributions.
