Two car crash in El Centro, two severely injured

EL CENTRO, CA - Two people were severely hurt after a two car crash at the intersection of State Route 86 and Lack Road in El Centro Friday afternoon.

The California Highway Patrol says a Honda Accord carrying 3 people failed to yield at the driver of a Dodge Charger at the intersection.

They say both drivers received major injuries and had to be transported to the hospitals.

The passengers had minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
