EL CENTRO, CA - The two people arrested on drug charges over the weekend after an El Centro Police Officer recognized one of them from a prior incident appeared in court this afternoon.
Joel Espinoza is facing several charges including violating probation and receiving known stolen property.
He has two separate bonds. The first is set at $50,000 dollars and the second is no bail.
Eloisa Hernandez is facing two charges for transporting and selling a controlled substance and possession of a narcotic distribution and selling.
Her bond is set at $40,000.
On Sunday Espinoza was pulled over while driving near 4th Street and Commercial Avenue in El Centro.
Police found drugs in Espinoza's pants and car.
Police also searched Hernandez, who had an outstanding arrest warrant, and found drugs on her.
Both remain in custody.
