Amberly's Place Sidewalk Sale Benefits Yuma County Abuse Victims - | News for Yuma, Imperial Valley, El Centro, AZ & CA

YUMA, AZ - Early risers picking up some needed items all in support of a good cause.

Amberly's Place held a sidewalk sale outside their thrift store Saturday from 10 to 12.

All the proceeds from the sale help the non profit with the necessary funds they need to assist abuse victims in Yuma County.

Trevor Umphress with Amberly's Place told News 13 "It's amazing the support we get from the community. A lot of times people are kind of shell shocked about supporting such a cause it's not a very happy cause yet when you see the outcome after all when someone comes in that'd in need and you walk through the whole process it's enough with the experience and by getting these funds it's been a great experience."

The next sidewalk sale will be at the end of September.
