BLYTHE, CA.- Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents seize more than 12 pounds of methamphetamine valued at $194,000.

Agents assigned to the Blythe station were patrolling Interstate 10 near Blythe Tuesday when they observed suspicious behavior by the driver of a black pickup truck.

After agents stopped the vehicle, the driver and passenger, who are both U.S. citizens, consented to a vehicle search.

During the search, agents discovered 11 tupperware-like containers filled with crystal meth.

The drugs, suspects and vehicle were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
